EIBENSTOCK Warranty Period

EIBENSTOCK UK guarantees the function of all "EIBENSTOCK" branded products and will repair or replace any part that has factory defects which appear due to faulty installation or defective parts free of charge when performed by the in-house EIBENSTOCK UK workshop or authorised repair centres during the warranty period.

Warranty Periods

EIBENSTOCK UK warrant "EIBENSTOCK" produced products to the original purchaser to be free from defective material and workmanship from the date of purchase for the "Warranty Period" stated within, depending upon the type of product use. This "Warranty Period" differs between products and should be carefully understood to ensure full comprehension of the "Warranty Period" for the applicable purchased product.

One Year Warranty Period

The "One Year Warranty Period" applies to all EIBENSTOCK UK products, excluding Spare Parts, and commences on the date of original purchase or shipping date of the product if the product was purchased as a pre-order or back order. The original purchase date will apply if the product was purchased on the Internet for domestic customer delivery.

Two Year Extended Warranty Period

The "Two Year Extended Warranty Period" is exclusively applicable to EIBENSTOCK UK products which include a motor; commonly referred to as a "power tool". This additional warranty period continues after the initial year is completed and all applicable power tools must be registered within 28 days of the invoice date. Completion of the Product Warranty Registration form is required for applicable products to receive the extended warranty period.

Spare Parts Warranty Period

Spare parts receive a 6 month warranty period when fitted as part of a repair or service by an authorised repair location. If these Spare Parts are fitted during the initial "One Year Warranty Period" for a product, these Spare Parts will feature the remainder of the original "One Year Warranty Period" under the terms of the "One Year Warranty Period" or will continue to be covered by the "Spare Parts Warranty Period", whichever is the longest.

Warranty Period Exclusions

When a warranty claim is submitted and the tool investigated at an appropriate location set out in the "Warranty Period", exclusions may apply if the product is deemed to have been subject to any of the following:

- Failure to properly maintain the product correctly; this includes keeping the machine free of dust and material buildup from application use
- Misusing the product not for its intended application
- Damage to the electrical plug, cable or switch components
- Repairs carried out by any party other than an unauthorised repair centre
- Continued product use after a product fault was made obvious
- Excessively worn motor brushes found in the product have caused further product damage

Additionally, all product warranty periods do not cover wearing parts including but not limited to:

- Power cables/leads
- Motor switches
- Electrical switches
- Carbon brush sets
- Motor brushes
- Clutch components
- Clutch kits

Furthermore, all air-powered tools are excluded from registering for the "Two Year Extended Warranty Period".
